I also have a 4 pound sierra designs. The sierra designs clip flashlight usually goes on a trip because it is light and I've got enough freeboard left over for food and water, photo gear, cheap novels, etc. I also have full length vestibules on the tents which keeps water out in a blow. I saw a more open design on the kelty which may, or may not. Before you commit 90 bucks plus tax and shipping, pick up this months copy of Backpacker magazine. They have far better reviews of outdoor gear than any magazine I know of. You can buy a really good, lightweight 3 season tent for close to that price.
