G'day,

I've done just as Michael describes. But it was a kayak company, a local
artist and I think the software was "Corel Paint". Decals are not quite as
neat as hand painting but more easily replaced when scratched. A hint when
cutting them out don't cut fine detail just broad simple outlines so the
backgound should match the color of the kayak. Fine detail tends to peel
away over time in sea water.

I have some dolphins copied from a Minoan temple, two on one side and one on
the other. The Minoans were seagoing people who decorated their temples with
sea creatures. My daughters name is Naomi so it all hung together. A lady in
a car at some traffic lights called out "How marvellous" in a very marked
mid european accent - I thought she was talking about me but it turned out
she recognised the dolphins:~) Some friends of mine have aboriginal motifs
on the bow and Larry Gray has a wonderful black on white mermaid with long
flowing hair and a trident.
