[Paddlewise] Aerial Flares

Flares are just one of several signals that we carried in the military.
One should not rely on one type of emergency signal.  VHF Radio,
EPIRB's,  Signal Mirrors, Dye Markers and Smoke to name just a few.  All
of these used in conjunction will increase your chance of rescue.
Proper training and deployment of each is most important.

Aerial Flares..... I'd rather have them and never use them than to want
and not have.
