I found this in an issue of Kanawa this weekend (great, not too rough XC skiing weekend in Temagami wilderness) and it's on the CRCA web site bookstore. Charlie Walbridge's book, Boatbuilder's Manual, is on sale at C$7.00 (About US$4.50!). This book is a little dated, but not much. While the sections on making your own fiberglass WW kayak are of little interest to sea kayakers, the sections on fiberglass, epoxies (and other composites) and on repairing and maintaining kayaks is still of great value. https://www.goodmedia.com/pnm/CRCA/Docs/CRCACore.cfm?Page=Bookstore (note: it's a secure web page). At this price, you should have a copy of it in your library. Mike No affiliation with CRCA, but I like this book. *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
