     Haven't paddled a bent shaft, so can't speak to it, but I do paddle a
Greenland paddle, and it is WAY easier on the wrists, no issues with
feathered/unfeathered, and I find it quieter to paddle as well.
     Lest I be branded a zealot or anything, I also paddle spoon paddles on
a regular basis. When I find my wrists getting sore I do concentrate more on
technique, but just switching to the Greenland paddle seems to be the best
answer for me personally. My two cents worth-
