My favorites are a pair of books called "A Canoeing and Kayaking Guide to the Streams of Florida" Volume II by Doug Sphar (a paddling friend and environmental advocate I know and respect) and Lou Glaros which covers Central and South Florida. Volume I by other authors and the same title covers north Florida. But of course I offer my KayakGuide.com project as another good source of paddling information shared by real paddlers. Florida has the most paddling routes listed. There are hundreds of color photos of paddling venues as well as driving directions and paddling route information. And I invite more PWrs to share their paddling on KayakGuide from anywhere in the world.
