I think it is a fine idea.  As someone else said, how many are we going to
see anyway?  I do know the likely company and I do know Tim.  It is always
interesting scuttlebutt when you see such a notice.  If we wind up seeing a
deluge of such announcements and ones about kayak businesses for sale etc.
then maybe would need to reconsider.

In the meantime, there have to be some PaddleWisers with necessary skills
who want to take a sabbathical from their daily routine and come for a year
or more to NYC for a change of scenary.  Same with kayak businesses for
sale.  Since this listserve is subscribed to by real aficionados, someone
might want to try a hand at owning a business in New Zealand or an Alaskan
one that may be up for sale.

Which leads to another question:  If you had your choice of where to be a
kayak instructor or guide or run a small shop, where in the world would you
like to do this?
