I like the idea of posting job openings. My thinking is that Paddlewise is a fantastic place to train new paddlers. This happens all the time, and many people benefit. Posting job openings plain and simply encourages instructors to spend more time hanging out on paddlewise, helping beginners. Does anyone have a problem with this? I doubt that the volume of job postings would ever become overwhleming and lead to spam. I work in the kayak instruction industry as a hobby mainly, so I personally am *very* interested in job openings in exotic locales. Perhaps I'll quite my day job if the right job opened up. Nope, I've never been to New York... ;) I'm not sure I would consider that exotic though. To answer Ralph, I would love to teach kayaking in New Zealand. That is, if the Kiwi's would allow a No-Rudder Heretic like me to enter the country. ;) Kevin Whilden *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
