Thought I would change the subject and re-introduce Ralph's question
since some folks might miss out on all the fun because of the original
subject title about "kayak instructors wanted."

Ralph Diaz asked:

kayak instructor or guide or run a small shop, where in the world would you
like to do this?"

How about do as some instructors.... many places :-)  Get the locals to
sign up a class of a certain number of students and go to wherever the 
class is.  Guess you'd have to be in George Gronseth's league, though 8-)  

Guides that cover various parts of the world have the right idea, too.
