We used wine cask bladders recently for 10 days in Australia's Whitsunday
islands. We used a combination of 2 and 4 litre bags for a total of 40
litres. We also had a guy resupply us half way through with bladders from
off the shelf water sold in 4 litre casks at supermarkets. (you don't have
to drink the 40 litres of wine yourself that way although you may prefer to)

I'd recommend using many bags so that if you spring a leak your losses are
limited.

Another option for flexible bags is the 5 and 10 litre containers that post
mix syrup ships in. This is the stuff that licensed premises / cinemas etc
use to mix with water to make soft drink. They are quite sturdy and have a
very strong valve. They can be scrounged by asking the local publican to
hold a few over for you. Ask on Friday and you should have more than enough
ready on Monday.
