Chuck Holst sent me detailed instructions on how to do this.  I believe they
are from an article that ran in the Spring, 1990 issue of Sea Kayaker.  I'll
see if it is OK with him to pass on the instructions.

The materials are available from Seattle Fabrics, whose Web site disappeared a
few months ago:  206-525-0670

Wyeast Fabrics may sell the stuff, also:  503-364-8419  (might be in the 541
area code now).
