[Paddlewise] What Is A Jellyfish, Anyway?

What kind of animal is a jellyfish, anyway?  Do they have
brains?  What, if any senses do they have?  Sight, smell,
touch?  Do they swim or just float around?  If they swim,
do they know where their going? 

I wonder the same things about starfish too.
