This was supposed to go straight to the list but ended up in Chucks mail box
by mistake.

I've made about a dozen different sized bags from the material that they
make rain coats and poncho's out of. . These bags have the roll top like a
dry bag and after several years of service they are still good. I think they
worked out to about $2 a bag.
I always use a heavy duty garbage bag as a liner though. These bags have
seen a lot of use in the kayak and on camping trips etc.

I also have a Sealine Dry Bag that split at the edges where you roll the top
down. It lasted about a year before it split and it cost about $80 from
memory.

Cheers

A firm believer in make it yourself, then you have no one else to blame if
it goes wrong.

PS. It is official. We did not have a summer here in Tas. To have a summer
you have to have 4 days above the average summer temp and we missed out :-(
