It sure sounds gross but when I came back to the states from Japan at 12
years of age I had the world's worst case of athlete's foot. Nothing
would cure it and I tried everything the doctors could think of. One
morning I was in bed, half asleep, with my poor feet sticking out because
I couldn't stand the weight of the covers on them . My faithful boxer Pug
came up to the bed and started licking my feet. I should have stopped him
but it felt so good that I didn't. He licked my toes so clean that there
was no trace left of the athlete's foot scabs or pus. My feet healed and
I have never had any problems with athlete's foot since and I am now 56
years old. Sorry if I grossed anyone out.

Yeah... never underestimate the power of a dog lick.

I was out paddling and got my hand and half of my paddle bitten
off by an alligator! Fortunately, Mollie was along and she began
to lick the wound. Before you know it, I had grown a new hand!
Fingernails AND freckles included! Even the chomped half of my
paddle grew back!!! Have had both hand and paddle ever since!
Now... if I can just figure out how to get them unstuck from each
other..... Anyone ever heard of a solvent for dog saliva?
