Kevin, I'm not sure we're on the same page.  What I was trying to say was that someone with excellant geographical knowledge *may* end up  *not* being listed if they have moved.  That's a missed opportunity. IE: A P'Wiser currently lives in Iowa, and that is where they are listed in the database.  But, they may have lived in Bangor Maine for 20 years and paddled weekly.  If they are lsited geographically as Iowa (current residence), then there are missed opportunities when people use the database to find folks in the Bangor, Maine area.    

The "Geographical" data would have to be two-fold.  First, where you live now - for showers, accomodations, boat loaning, etc.  Second, for areas that you have knowledge of and can provide trip tips.  For some folks, that second one could include a wide range of geography.  

Sorry if I was unclear before.
