I am looking for advice on purchasing a used Sportsman kayak. The boat is in fairly good condition for its age, some cracking on the outside glaze. I haven't yet tried it in the water but plan to do that next. My interest is in a kayak for recreational (quiet river and lake) travel. I am accustomed to using a Swifty and like the stability of that type of boat. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
