I'm not sure who asked about Sikaflex, but maybe Peter O.

Sikaflex is made by Sika AG here in Switzerland. It's a monocomposant
polyurethane elastomer and is not in fact a marine sealant, but a sealing
agent used in the building industry. It's available in cartridges like
silicone rubber. Monocomposant PU uses water (usually from air humidity) as
the second composant for the polymerisation reaction. This explains why it
sticks like hell to your (humid) fingers.

You may find this product at building suppliers more easily than ships
chandlers. If you need any documentation, let me know, I'll try to get some in
English from the producer.

Cheers,

Kevin
