But your figures skew high, because you are in an area where sea kayaking is popular, at least partly because there's good places to do it in close at hand. F'r instance, I know at one time we had one or two Kansas sea kayakers on this echo, but not many. Again, to use the comment I used earlier to start all this. 100,000 people in this county. Realistically, I can think of six people that I could call sea kayakers using your definition (three with plastic boats as their best boat, three, including myself, with glass).
