[Paddlewise] CKF Fest 2002

Just wanted to let everyone know that California Kayak Friends (CKF) is
hosting our first CKF Fest next Sunday (5/19/2002) in Alamitos Bay, Long
Beach CA.

There will be competitions, prizes, a gear swap, some introductory classes
on paddlefloat rescues, rolling, outfitting your cockpit, etc, a pot luck,
and an easy paddle around the bay.

Further information can be seen at the CKF web site, www.ckf.org This event
is open to all.

Come join us for a fun day.
