As a Paddle America club, NSPN has it's members sign an ACA waiver and a NSPN waiver once each year at renewal (or at initial joining). After we have received all of the required waivers, signed and ready to go, we submit the membership info to the ACA. The ACA then sends out an ACA membership card with our club name printed on the card. The member then only has to present their ACA membership card with NSPN printed on it to satisfy the waiver requirement. This is our assurance that we have signed waivers on file so we do not need to have each member fill out waivers at each event, just one for the whole year. The ACA still requires that each member sign-in on a per-event sign-up sheet but this part is pretty easy.
