Shamrock cove is inside Shamrock Island, a small island just inside Padre Island, about 45 minutes from downtown Corpus Christi. I have never seen more birds....these pictures are not great (no substitute for front lighting) but they give you the idea of the number of birds in this area. Great paddle...birds were fantastic.
