> Remember to store > it semi-inflated.... Can you say more about this? Why do you store them semi-inflated? Mainly it's easier to re-inflate. These guys are self-inflating; there's a soft foam core that expands and pulls air in through the valve. If I've stored it rolled tightly up it takes a lot longer to reinflate when I use it again. You always top it off with a few breaths anyway... I usually store them with just the valve open and not rolled up. So far as I know storing it rolled tightly up doesn't necessarily degrade it... That doesn't mean you can't pack with them for a few days, but long-term storage should be flat. -- Wes --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wes Boyd's Kayak Place http://www2.dmci.net/wesboyd/kayak.htm Kayaks for Big Guys (And Gals) | Trip Reports | Places To Go | Boats & Gear --------------------------------------------------------------------------- *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
