I came across a great idea for packing waste out of remote areas. It is a
"Blitz 6 qt Oil Pan" available for about $5.00 at most auto parts stores. It
is made of tough plastic and is "water" tight. An adult can sit on it but
there isn't much clearance for "you know what". I plan to use it with a
plastic bag liner with kitty litter to absorb liquids and smell. It is the
size of a bed pan with a 8" hole and so could conceivably be used on board a
kayak umder way.

Frankly, I hope I never have to use it but evidence of the ability to pack
waste is required in some wilderness areas.
