Amir--=0D =0D As far as paddle clubs around Atlanta go, there are two: Atlanta Whitewat= er Club and Georgia Canoeing Association (www.georgiacanoe.org), which has m= ore kayaks than canoes, despite its name. Both of these are mainly white wate= r oriented, although the GCA has the occasional touring trip or course. AW = is less newbie-friendly. Not that they're not nice people, but their events tend to be on more difficult water and they don't do much instruction.=0D =0D Atlanta Sea Kayakers is only loosely definable as a club. It has no dues, officers, by-laws, membership list, or organization. Just a web site and = a core group of people who like to get together for day paddles, kayak camp= ing and base camp car-camping with day trips. Monitor the events sections on the Forum at the web site, and come along on something that sounds interesting.
