Thinking of a trip in July focusing in the Nuchalitz area. Have all the appropriate books on the area. Any comments or info appreciated. >>> Make sure you check out any First Nation requirements, depending on the precise area. Also, approaching the Nuchalitz from the open sea in a moderate to large swell can be intimidating to find your way in safely from seaward - just look at a chart. And, if you do get a chance to poke out to the open side of Nootka, there is an awesome beach on the northwestern side that is pure heaven. If you need further info, give me a shout back channel and I'll hook you up with a guide via e-mail who knows the area.
