I hate to go over this undelicate topic again but.. some of the comments
said that plastic bag systems were not okay because the waste treatment
facility can't handle the plastic bags. Conversely, disposing of human waste
in a landfill is considered hazardous waste.

So if one uses a boom box and dumps the waste in a RV waste facility without
a plastic bag that would be okay?

(Just yukkie cleanup work)

Take a look at "How To Shit In The Woods", by Kathleen Meyer (this is a
widely available book - if your library doesn't have it, your local camping
store should). She has a chapter that discusses homemade and commercial
pooptainers and how they fit to RV facilities.

The problem is that the RV crowd doesn't want to deal with the mess, so
it's made messless through the use of hoses, valves and fittings of various
sorts. You have to make your box mate with the right fitting and you can't
just open your box and pour. Meyer's book will explain this better than
most of us could.
