[Paddlewise] lake superior temps

lake superior surface water temps vary considerably thoughout the year
and throughout the lake... "in general," the southern parts (i.e.,
including the apostles) tend to be warmer--  northern canadian side
(aside from more shallow bays) is notoriously and wonderfully cooler...
