Cape Blanco is actually the western most point in the US, not including AK. The bluffs around Blanco and south to Port Orford are all wonderful paddling. The clapotis when big seas are running is amazing. My wife and I did a paddle out from Port Orford one winter, a bunch of years ago, when a 12' west sea was running. It made for some fun rides along those cliffs! There is a couple RV parks, one in Bandon and one in Port Orford, that we OK.
