I think it takes pretty good pictures with faster film (200 or so), but be real still if using the 100 speed film. I have seen it for $240 USD on occasion. Type it in a search engine for best pricing. For quality shots I use a Canon EOS and protect it with an Ortlieb padded camera case/dry bag. I hate deck loads so I keep it between my legs. Very nice bag that features a zip type seal and a roll up feature. It cost me about $75.00. The Canon does not come out of the bag in choppy water unless I use my greenland paddle as an outrigger or even slide a float on it.
