I took my family out to the lake Saturday. Had my wife act as spotter while I practiced rolling. I noticed she really wasn't watching carefully. How dare she not be engrossed by someone trying way too hard to get wet. Anyway, I rolled over quietly and gently popped the skirt and floated up into the cockpit while the kayak was still inverted. There I sat quietly waiting. After about 30 seconds she started saying my name with increasing urgency. After the fifth time I heard her splashing towards me. I tilted the cockpit up a bit and asked her if she would hit a man with glasses. She seemed genuinely tempted.
