http://208.55.248.104/Ebook/rolling.htm This site is the best online instruction for rolling I have seen so far. I don't think I saw it on Michael Daly's index of sites and rolls, and I don't recall it being discussed here. The animated gifs are very instructive. They talk about the c-to-c and sweep rolls. I had had trouble transitioning from the layback roll in my NDK Explorer to a roll in my low-volume stern Mega Cyclone surf kayak. This site was the best at explaining to me how to come up the side, instead of laying back It is definitely worth a visit. The site is in the e-book section of Performance Video. They made the "In the Surf" surf kayaking video, which I really like. Standard disclaimer. I > don't think I saw it on Michael Daly's index of sites and rolls I saw it after someone posted to re.boats.paddle.somethingorother and checked it out. It does look good, but I haven't added a link to it on my rolling page since it seems like an ad to buy the video rather than a pure instruction web page like the one from Bristol. I may reconsider.
