Hello Rick, I bought a EWA bag for my minolta 7000i about eight years ago. I regularly shoot with it kayaking using a 70-210 F2.8-4 autufocus lens. The bag allows me to zoom to about 120 mm. No obvious loss of F stop due to the optical glass in the lense, but polarizing filters are out (no way to adjust them). Autofocus works through the bag above water, but not below. Manual focus can be done, but is a little cumbersome. I have used the bag extensively kayaking with no problems. I have used it several times snorkeling. When using it underwater, or in cases where water/air temps are greatly different, I have found it helps to have a silicon desicant bag inside the housing to eliminate condensation. I have had no problems with leakage. After about 6 years, the one strap connection failed, but I'm pretty tough on gear. If a truly waterproof/submersible camera couldn't be had for the current cost of the bag, or the quality of photo you want, I'd buy one again.
