[Paddlewise] Bannerman's Island access (was "Missing Paddlers-Update")

It's good to hear that the happy couple were found safe and sound.

On a derivative note, is an incident such as this likely to impact
access to Bannerman's Island.  It is my understanding that it hasn't
always been accessible to paddlers, at least legally, and that current
access rights aren't exactly rock solid.
