I use GPS utility: http://www.gpsu.co.uk/ with an etrex. Compatible with most GPS receivers, distributed as shareware at US$40 to register the full version, and does everything I require and more. I have no affiliation with the company, I am just a very satisfied user and would recomend it - won't cost anything to download and try.
