[Paddlewise] Looking for recommendations on paddling spots in WA & OR

Hi All,

My girlfriend and I are planning to drive down the Washington coast and
into NW Oregon for a week or so.  We are bringing the sea kayaks so we
would appreciate any suggestions on favourite paddling spots along the
way.  I'm looking for some moderate surf to practise in, and we'd both
like to find some relatively sheltered coastal areas to explore.

Any thoughts on places we shouldn't miss?
