I don't have foot pedals in either my Nordkapp or WW boat. Just plain old
bulkheads. That offers me the freedom to have one pair of footwear on a trip
and sock my feet appropriately. I use Seal Skinz waterproof socks for camp
and on the water if it's cold. The Khats has vertical foot pegs but I can't
get my sandals and size 12's in the boat together, so the barefoot or
neoprene approach does fine there. My point? Blanket Can't Do's are not
always appropriate.
