I would hesitate to recommend the chlorine bleach treatment. It does bad things to neoprene, nylon, and rubber. Try Sink the Stink, Febreeze, or the Wetsuit Conditioner. Salt water also seems to harbor a lot more "microbial action" than does freshwater. I rinse my gear after every trip in salt water, and after a month or so of trips in fresh water. I now routinely soak and rinse them after every use. Yahoo!
