The gentleman that invented this intended it for use in 'bush' airports for
landing lights when severe weather kicks up here in Alaska. The practical
uses of his system are innumerable. The local tele news station did a story
about his laser system this past winter - it was absolutely remarkable at
just how visible it is!
I live here and wasn't aware that he was already selling them - at the time
of the news cast, he mentioned that he was working on a hand-held unit for
SAR - I will definitely get one here soon.
