subject: [Paddlewise] Cold water Gasp reflex

    I had an interesting cold water reflex here in Augusta GA.  Not easy to do in August.  I spilled a cooler full of ice water on my thighs and managed to inhale  deeply and uncontrollably when it happened.  I also managed to shrink my nether region quite a bit too.  As Jerry Seinfeld once said, " This is a very schizophrenic organ."
