I don't use my Lendal often, but as far as euro paddles go, this has been my favorite. Unfort., one of my blades is frozen to the shaft, so my 4-piece paddle is now a 3-piece. I left the paddle assembled last winter and when I tried to take to take it apart last Spring, it was stuck together. No worries, though, b/c I don't like lugging my folder with me to an airport, so a 3-piece works fine. If you do get a Lendal, I bought mine with a group of people I met through this list and recieved a BIG discount on the paddle. It might be worth a try again. http://www.explorenewfoundland.com/lendal/ Hope this helps.
