As mentioned in an earlier message, I have a strong interest in a Greenland-style paddle, but have little direct experience with them. For various reasons, the two that have caught my eye are the Klatwa from Feathercraft and the various Beatsie Bay models. My preference is for a 2-piece break-down Greenlander (the last thing I need is to store and haul an eight foot wood stick). I also don't feel like building my own in the near future (any spare building time will go into a stitch-and-glue kit from the likes of CLC or Pygmy). Do PaddleWise subscribers have some favorites they would like to suggest (along, of course, with the reason for their preference)? Also, comments on either of my above "early interests" are welcome too? -.- jwd *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
