Of them all, Pilot whales were by far the most fun, and Orcas were the most awe inspriring. But the best one of all was a baby harbor porpoise who swam up to me outside of Chritmas Cove, ME this spring. Momma was nearby, and didn't seem the least concerned about the company junior wanted to keep. It swam within about 10 feet of me, and went back with its mother. I have no fear of whales approaching me. They've all been very good experiences.
