Thanks > Hi Gary, The best Klepper sprayskirt is the "Expedition" which tucks under the coaming and fix by inflating the sponsons. It has plastic rimmed holes, to which you can attach a more conventional type sprayskirt. I don't know if there is a single seat version for the Aerius II. The "Touring" model you have is not too bad either, and a lot more practical for packing stuff into the boat. I have one myself, albeit for a single, and never had to try it in any serious waves yet. You do need to be careful though when sticking the velcro to the coaming, so it does not come loose. There should be some instructions with them on how to do it properly, otherwise they might be on one of Klepper's websites. The previous model of the "Touring" was not attached with velcro but with a few metal clips. This was not a very good solution, and probably the one Ralph D. refers to. As far as I know, Klepper stopped selling these some years ago, I have my velcro one for three years now. regards, Kees *************************************************************************** PaddleWise Paddling Mailing List - Any opinions or suggestions expressed here are solely those of the writer(s).
