But as far as i can tell the major difference between a PFD2 and a PFD3 is the colour and the Kokatat comes in a "mango" color which looks as though it should be clearly visible. I was attracted by the D rings and pockets for gear and EPIRB (or food bars). But maybe these also contrbute to the lower 'rating' 3 vs 2? Interested to hear what people think. But I wanted to chime in on Kokotat's "mango" color. A few people had this on the trip, and we all said how markedly more visible it was than the other PFDs.
