The paddlers look as though they were photographed on an overcast day, there is no sun sparkle off the waves or the boats or anything else. The whale's white parts, and the splash, are really white. Besides, don't you think the whole world would have heard the story from the people who were there? Six years ago a humpback swam under my kayak and I still haven't stopped talking about it.
