[Paddlewise] Thief-proofing methods/Cable rigging shops

Here in Portland we have shops that specialize in selling rigging cable and
chain for industrial uses. They have a large choice of cables and chains
(plastic covered or not) and can custom cut a cable, swedge loops into the
ends and even cover the swedges in plastic. Not very expensive either.
Maybe try checking your yellow pages under "rigging".....?
