Seems like much of the anticpated rain luckily just didn't happen this time. I had heard on the news that over 3,000 prisoners were moved inland from Galveston jails due to concerns about Lili. Cape Canaveral delayed Atlantis' launch because concern that NASA's Mission Control Center in Houston wouldn't be available (I heard this was the first time a launch at Cape Canaveral was canceled because Houston anticipated a problem). See: http://www.upi.com/view.cfm?StoryID=20021001-033921-8862r Glad you are all OK. Maybe the front from the north had some impact? Whatever it was, I know there is great relief along the Gulf Coast tonight.
