[Paddlewise] Side note to sponson permission

Hi folks,

Thought I would mention that any PaddleWiser responding
to Kate O'Hara's request for permission to use their quotes
might want to consider whether permission can or will be
provided to outside interests once they have passed their
right to authorization over to Ms. O'Hara.

Because of past experience with Tim and his violation of
copyright laws and unlawful use of PaddleWise quotes in both
his promotion of his sponsons on his website as well as a
continued email bombing to various groups which includes
the US Coast Guard (I think he has given up on the Canadian
Coast guard), I would be concerned that he may use the
quotes to promote his sponsons once these quotes are outside
the protection of PaddleWise and its individual contributers.
With a good deal of behind-the-scenes battling, I've
been able to persuade his various ISPs to stop this abuse
of PaddleWise postings by Tim Ingram. However, once you
permit the use of your quotes outside the protection of
PaddleWise, there is no guarantee how they will be used or
abused. I don't know what Ms. O'Hara's intent is for use
of these quotes. Actually, I don't know anything about
Ms. O'Hara's intent. Will the quotes be made available on a
public website? If the US Coast Guard decides the quotes
warrant a mandate on carrying sponsons, can they post the
quotes elsewhere?

Questions you should think about.....

Jackie
