I will be also determining if I can attach ICP Global Technologies iSun
portable solar chargers to a kayak deck as I own two iSuns now (web site
www.isunpower.com).

I am waiting for the BattPak, an accessory for the iSuns, to be available
soon before I investigate. Attaching the BattPak will increase the size of
the iSun. I have not investigated what to use for a waterproof cover
(drybox, map case dry bag).

If anyone has any experiences with this type of installation, I would
welcome your ideals.

Solar Panel charging Mobile Phone battery?

Thinking of building watertight clear plastic
box to carry on kayak deck.
In the box suitable solarpanel + diod + Mobile
Phone battery to be charged at 5.3 V max 500 mA.
Expereiences / suggestions are welcome.
