I felt warm and fuzzy to get Jackie's warning note to all members of the
list regarding hurricane Lili. I'm in Lafayette, La., and building a Pygmy
Coho right now and had just laid out all the panels and glued up the joints.
Then hurricane Isador came, had to haul everything indoors, then outside
again, here comes Lili, back indoors again. Jackie was right, Lili was bad.
Beat us up pretty bad here. Seems like I should name this boat accordingly!
Like a baby born in a storm. hehe

Though it wasn't the category 4 that it had been hours before landfall, I
understand it still made landfall as a cateogory 2 with winds around
100 mph and lots of rain. Any hurricane can still spawn tornados. Was
very glad to hear that Lili came down a couple of notches but also
realize it was no picnic for you all. I'll cross my fingers that you guys
get a break for the rest of the season!

How about "Fickle Lili"? or "Swamp Lili" (I could go on... :-)
